Wang Yonghang, a defense lawyer for Falun Gong
practitioners, was handed down a 7-year's prison sentence.
Wang is now in a critical condition
after being severely tortured in prison.
Wei Liangyue, another Falun Gong defense lawyer,
was kidnapped by local police in Harbin.
In China, lawyers have been increasingly persecuted
by the Chinese Communist Party' (CCP) regime for defending "persecuted" victims.
Experts say, the persecution of righteous lawyers in China
is disgraceful to the Chinese nation and an inhumane act.

Human rights lawyer Wang Yonghang
was imprisoned in Shenyang First Prison.
Over the past six months, Wang Yonghang had endured
harsh tortures in prison.
He has symptoms of tuberculosis, pleural effusion
and ascites, and paralysis below the waist line.
Wang Yonghang is now in a critical condition,
and too weak to even speak.

WqWqw2010.blogspot.com.br reported that Wang Yonghang
has defended many Falun Gong practitioners.
In July 2009, he was secretly abducted by CCP's authorities
from his home and detained in Dalian Detention Center.
During the kidnapping Wang was beaten,
which caused comminuted fracture of his right ankle bone.
The delay in treatment further caused Wang to suffer
a fracture displacement and serious wound infection.

Ning Ye (Human rights attorney, U.S.): "P.R. of China (PRC)
is a signatory y to the UN Convention against Torture.
Yet it exerts such an inhumane political persecution,
torture and long jail-terms upon lawyer(s) of conscience.
This is a disgrace to the whole Chinese nation."

Ning Ye points out that the rampant and systematic use
of torture by the CCP regime is found all over China.
Ning thinks it is unreasonable to give Wang Yonghang
7-years prison sentence.
This tells that Dalian is really one of the hard-hit areas,
where the CCP's leftists have raged for y years, he remarks.

Ning Ye: "It's absolutely appalling that China's government
uses such a brutal political persecution against lawyers, who uphold justice and defend Falun Gong practitioners.
In reality, the lawyers just perform their jobs in line with
professional ethics, which also conforms to the Lawyers Law of PRC."

Beijing lawyer Lan Zhixue once defended Wang Yonghang,
and says he is a man of very strong will, whom he admires.

Lan Zhixue (Lawyer, Jiafa Law Firm):"Since he wale walked in,
I heard the shackles clanging and his calm words,
'Falun Dafa is good ! Heaven won't tolerate
the persecution of Falun Gong!' He kept repeating that.
I told him on our meeting, 'Your repeating of these words
impressed me very much.'
He answered, 'I am using all the chances
to tell the truth to everyone.'"

Lan Zhixue says Wang is innocent but subjected to severe
and unjustified persecution by the Liaoning authorities.
Lan strongly urges the authorities
to immediately reltely release Wang Yonghang.

Another attorney who defended Falun Gong practitioners,
is the Harbin-based lawyer Wei Liangyue.
Wei was kidnapped by local Domestic Security police
on May 25, and remains missing for several days.

Wei's wife Du Yongjing says, since Wei was taken away,
the CCP authorities have not given any explanation for that. She feels this is unacceptable.

Du Yongjing: "When we went seeking for an explanation,
they didn't even admit it.
That made us very worried. Wh Where's my husband?
None of the official departments admits it.
We kept asking and they finally let us meet with the director,
who said the kidnapping was done by the Office 610."

Be aware of her husband was kidnapped by the Office 610;
Du said that her husband is well known locally for his handling of major lawsuits.
Upon hearing he was kidnapped, people questioning---
how come they kidnapped such a good person!?

In China, lawyers who made justifiable defense,
fall under the CCP's's overt persecution.

Lawyer Gao Zhisheng began defending Falun Gong
practitioners in 2004.
He wrote three open letters calling for the CCP regime
to end the persecution of Falun Gong.
Gao was given three-year jail sentence on charge
of "inciting subversion of state power."
He had been repeatedly put under various types of torture,
such as hands handcuffed for 600 hours;
body fixed in a specially-made iron chair for over 590 hours;
exposure to two-way strong lights for over 590 hoursurs, etc.

Lawyers like Chen Guangcheng, Jiang Tianyong, Teng Biao
and Li Heping, are also victims of their "justifiable defense."

Attorney Ning Ye remarks that in the 21st century,

the staging of torture and political persecution against
"righteous lawyers" in China is a retroact against humanity.
